Accounts Administrator

At the heart of a company's effectiveness lies its accounts system. Clients expect payments and invoices to be made and issued on time and correctly. It's here that Sue comes in. having joined SJH a year ago, she ensures that the invoicing system is kept highly efficient and up to date. Sue's responsibilities include processing purchase and sales invoices on Sage as well as dealing with any queries which arise from the documents. She is also responsible for processing the payroll; the all-important duty making sure that staff know they will be paid at the end of the month.

Sue has a working lifetime's experience in accounting, having started her career as an accounts director for the Lloyds' Register of Shipping and having spent 42 years in the sector – only taking the time out to raise a family. She boasts qualifications from the Association of Accounting Technicians and is Sage trained in Parts 1,2 and 3 – as well as having a City and Guilds in Interior Design!

Outside of her busy work schedule, Sue is a keen charity worker who loves the outdoors. A cancer survivor herself, she has raised more than £15,000 for Cancer Research, through various sponsored walks, runs and climbing sessions!
